Filtering a saltwater pool

    mom has a pool in cali. thanks sounds like its worth looking into.

    Yep, my pool is inground. I also installed a zinc anode in the plumbing that is supposed to reduce corrosion.

    I don't have the ability to boil water if the grid goes down, that is the main reason I was looking at this solution. Thanks Brokor for the info on salt levels, I think I'll go ahead and put together an inexpensive RO system and test it out. It may not be perfect, but as far as I can tell, it will filter enough salt and other chemicals out to survive on. If/when I get something working I'll post back the results here.
