how old is too old to be a prepper?

Ya, I never throw anything away that can be reused. I keep glass jars, plastic coffee cans, cardboard boxes, and a myriad of other seemingly useless items. They are only useless until you find a use for them. Everything has a second life. If anyone knows of a set of leatherworking tools that could use a second life, I'm looking to start tooling leather.
