How To Seriously Improve Your Prep. Knowledge

I have actually based my life off of what histroy I learned in school.

 

I, personally have a difficult time reading through a long post.. Mind starts wondering off to all the posibilities of what I just read.. I only made it through college by reading the material in a bar or a truck stop.. I need the extra noise to help me focus.. You tube is great, however, once again I have the wandering mind...

Just because you found school and what was being taught to be a waste of time for you doesn't mean that that experience holds true for everyone.
Are there problems with HOW history is being taught? Absolutely. Historical revisionism and political correctness is a problem. That doesn't mean that the subject is without merit

 

The way it is taught is BS. I suppose I can sympathize, looking closer at my life, I flunked out of college at one point because I was too busy studying real history, and not regurgitating the boring bs they were teaching that had nothing to do with anything.

 

Had read that the socialist of today will not identify themselves as such.. They use the term "progressive" now, yet history tells us that the progressives in the 1920's gained such an ill reputation that they droped it.. They had been voted out of office enmass, and was only able to win elections as democrates..

History can be a map for what can happen, as long as one pays heed to the lessons of the past.. 1929 sticks in my head and the head way made by some to gain their goals..

 

I like youtube but there have been many times I have tried to replicate something I have watched and it was a fail. I still haven't opened a can with a spoon. YT is a good tool to gather ideas but I really like Instructables, those I have more success with.

 

The spoon trick is a nice gag, but I'd rather just use an axe.

 

Because God sees me from the inside out ,this is how I've learned patience with others .
Like walking a mile in their shoes , listening to them, not merely looking at them when they talk, something more can be seen and understood and learned .
There are things in life one does have to figure out for them self, no where in their own small sphere of influence can relate.
It is a great advantage to have this opportunity to broaden this sphere of influence and friends that share their goals, successes, and failures.
You have to accept the fact that there are thespians every where, merely looking for attention and gratification, for truth or deception and it's tough sometimes to sort them out.
But then there are those that simply want to make a difference in this world in a positive way, these are pure gold ,though they are not perfect, their heart is there. spelling errors and all.
