I'm remodeling and figuring out my closet and in the process noticed that I may have finally stumbled into grayness. Although once upon a time I did have a denim leisure suit.
I’m headed for gray dickie coverall like my Dad. Nothing says old and harmless like that. I think you could walk into an enemy bunker in that outfit and they wouldn’t even look up.

I'm so relieved @GOG ! When I first saw the title I thought it said you had achieved GAY MAN status... My clothes haven't gone gray, but my hair sure has, all but a small Fu Manchu pattern of darker hair in my beard.
That would be a good look for when SHTF or TEOTWAWKI, just make sure that they are a couple of sizes too big (as if you have lost weight), dirty and smell.
Don't want to be bothered and have people walk away from you instead of toward out in public. Just dress like I do
