This is the Veterans Exempt flag of 1812. It was used by the veterans of the Revolution who were too old to go and fight the British again and instead were the Homeguard to let the young bucks go and defend this young country. The flag was flown in Plattsburg, New York and in upper Ohio. I don't know about you, but i think it's cool. Almost, dare I say it? Tactikewl. Thoughts? Opinions?
