As an equal opportunity hater of both "main" political parties (and most politicians, too, for that matter), I typically stick with this one:

OLANIL (Oh Look, Another New Idiotic Law!!)

 

It's cyclical, and usually has a catchy slogan like "The stakes are too high to stay at home." "A leader, for a change." Or "Change we can believe in."
These cycles last from 5-10 years before the Nation can recover.

 

"SNAFU" applies to the People's Democratic Republic of Amerika these days......
