Over the past 8 years, we've noticed a lot of 'link rot' when it comes to external links to sites that have a file (or files) for download. Many sites come and go and then the link to all the good stuff goes bad. We made a decision that whenever possible, we'd encourage members to upload files that were free and clear to re-post as attachments so that we have them stored for safe keeping. Probably 85% of the links from '05 were (or still are if we haven't found them) bad. Feel free to upload files of this type here at survivalmonkey. The best place for pdfs or other file uploads is the Survival Downloads section. You can select from a wide range of prefixes to better categorize your contribution. We'd like to remain the 'information archive' that we began as. Thanks
