Using Ktorrent to download Mint 10 now, slowed it up enough so I could check in on the forums. Looks like a rather slow day. That eMachine in the barn is hibernating for now. Yes I do have a heater out there that takes the edge off, but I even brought my reloading press inside for the winter. Just old and cold here in Ohio. Working on getting a wood stove connected to warm things up even better, barn is a metal pole building, so not much to worry about catching on fire. Those links grunt351 posted look good. I didn't snoop around there much, but I will later.
Posting from my Ubuntu 10.04 desktop. As soon as I can get our corporate VPN to work under Linux (there's a client, I just haven't gotten it running yet) I'll be able to drop the Windows VM and be Windows-free.
I've got Ubuntu 10.10 installed as a back up for when Vista craps out on me. Installed the Dual Boot using Wubi. Easy as pie.
All we run at our house is Linux, I have been using it for over 5 years. I have to use Windows while at work. Linux has become much more user friendly in the past two years. My wife loves Linux Mint! She uses it with the (XP GNOME Shell) which makes it look exactly like Windows XP. She is more comfortable that way...
