SO I'm walking around the local Artisans Festival today. Lot's of bad Country Clutter Craft stuff. Some good food and some interesting finds all in all.

I started looking at the Vendors and what they have as a hobby that would be useful post SHTF... Some really good stuff.

There were also woodworkers, butchers, leather people and a lot more.

I feel like I might be able to work out a barter system with some of my locals if I ever need to. What's in your area?

So far, all I've found is bad drivers. Saw one today with his newspaper in his lap, talking on the cell, steering with his knee (on a curve) and tuning the radio with his other hand. (Sorry for the potential hijack, but I needed to record this ass****'s activities.)

Thanks for posting. I've yet to see anything like this 'fair' locally - even after 25 years of living here.

OTOH, So many live on the edge in here Alaska, it may just be everyday life....
