TO BUY WHEAT BERRIES, OR ANY GRAIN, YOU NEED TO FIND A LOCAL STORE THAT SELLS INBULK, THEY WOULD HAVE 20-40 FOOT RACK OF DIFFERENT , WHEAT,OATS, CORN MEAL, ALOT, SELL IT BY THE POUND

ANYWAY,THEY BUY IT BY THE 25 OR 50 LB BAG , IT COMES TO THEM ON A PALLET BY TRUCK , EACH WEEK,4-800 LBS
THEIR SHIPPING COST ARE A LOT LOWER THAN UPS
ANYWAY, I JUST GOT A 50 LB BAG OF HARD RED WHEAT, FROM A LOCAL FOOD STORE, FOR $56.85

IF YOU BUY WHEAT, ANY GRAIN, FROM A FEED STORE, CK TO BE SURE IT IS NOT TREATED FOR SEED.
THEY WILL STILL CALL IT "ANIMAL FEED" "NOT FOR HUMANS TO EAT", I HAVE SEEN SOME VERY CLEAN GRAIN IN A FEED STORE.

IF IT IS NOT TREATED SEED.............IT WILL BE FINE TO EAT OR PLANT

ditch witch I do stupid crap, so you don't have to

Just as a side comment for anyone lacking funds for a mill... I have white AP flour that I bought in 2018, froze for 2 weeks to kill the beasties, then dumped into 5 gallon buckets, and it's still good. No mylar, no 02 absorbers. 50 lb cost me around $20 from Sam's Club. I don't use much flour, mostly did it to see how it held up. Made some flour tortillas out of it a few weeks ago. Mmmm.

I still freeze flour, along with corn meal and maseca, but now I add dry ice to push out the O2 before sealing the buckets up. I'm eyeballing a mill attachment for my KitchenAid Pro but keep hearing how they're hell on even the commercial models so IDK.
