Out and about with the monkeys today. It is a beautiful day! Especially in @Bear's neck of the woods. After dropping off Mrs. Hanzo for her appointment, we made a beeline for Pretzels. Who knew monkeys love pretzels? Our first bit of excitement... After getting our grub and sitting down to eat, the power in the mall and area went down.
Afternoon sky as one monkey plays tennis and the other skateboards. Clouds opposite the sun. Tomorrow... Beach day.
Took Popo out for an early dinner. My little Frenchy? Part of dinner. Popo (age 93) really liked it. On the table so far, the best won ton soup; fried noodles with mixed seafood, meats and veggies; salt and pepper squid; honey walnut shrimp; and some buns, steamed and fried. Next came the wu shi spareribs, fried with honey. And some Chinese fajitas... mu shu pork. Shredded veggies and pork in the wrapper. Most awesome turnip cakes. Monkey and her dessert, mango pudding. Even though we ordered some dessert, my favorite waitress there comped us more desserts all around. The almond tofu is super light and refreshing. And the hot red bean soup with mochi balls aids digestion. Monkey trying to hide the evidence. She freaking had THREE desserts. Her sister didn't have any, preferring I drive thru Wendy's for a chocolate frosty. A very good dinner. I'm stuffed and ready for a nap.
