Ok, it's been awhile since I've seen it, but after finishing up our last homeschool read (<-- Gentle Ben by author Walt Morey ) we just happened upon this conversation about "OLD TV SHOWS".... Here I'll give y'all a HINT (below): Do the pics "ring a bell" for any of you??? I'm talkin' about Grizzly Adams. There's even a site on the subject, if it interests any of you. http://grizzlyadams.net/about.html http://grizzlyadams.net/RealStory.html Over here we LOVE TO READ, and always end up reading awesome survival/wilderness outdoor oriented books like ISLAND OF THE BLUE DOLPHINS, JULIE OF THE WOLVES (trilogy), MY SIDE OF THE MOUNTAIN (another trilogy about a boy who runs off to the wilderness to live with his peregrine falcon...) and etc... Anyway this was just something which popped into my mind & I thought I'd share as I know that now we want to locate a box set of the tv series!!!! lol ~W~ P.S.- Ya know how sometimes "your memory remembers things one way"... I wonder if I recall it being alot better than it really was??? ha,ha,ha Alrighty, have an awesome weekend, as family & I are off to the backwoods!!! Gotta enjoy all of that beautiful SNOW whilst it's still here ya know! Yahoo!!!!
I caught this show every week, this one and several others such as Little House on the Prairie, The Walton's etc. One of my dearest friends and I used to tease that Grizzly Adams (The character) was the last good man left on earth other then our respective husbands of course. LOL
