One of Our Founding Members, CRC, Has Passed Away

    There will be a campfire one day where we will finally get to meet in person. Connie's last words to me were "I love you too" on our last phone call. Until that campfire those words will have to suffice.

    CRC's last post, June 25th 2015, was one year to the day after my family and I buried my mother, who also had an extended illness that ended under hospice care. My heart and sincere condolences go out to CRC's family. Seeing a family member fight through the dying process gives us all a helpless sadness no matter how much effort we put into being a helping caregiver. Whenever we lose a loved one, it's a reminder of our own finite time that grows shorter with each passing day. We'll all get to "leave the room" when our time in the physical realm is complete.
