Prepper/Survival board games????

Discussion in 'General Survival and Preparedness' started by Jordan Goddard, Jun 2, 2014.

  1. One of the hardest parts of preparedness is getting your friends and family to get on board. I have been looking for a shows, books, or games that DONT portray preppers as fringe lunatics to help my family understand how important it is to be prepared and have a plan...

Have any of you found something that works for you? I have taken to creating my own card game as a way of filling the void, but I would sure love to know what else is out there!

Yep, it is in Cessna Heaven, now.... The owner sold it to a FlatLander, who promptly stuffed into a mountain..... Just one of those things.... Then the owner, at very good friend, crashed in bad Wx, on a hunting trip, up in the Brooks Range, a few years later and was lost.... Very few Old Bold Pilots in Alaska..... ...... If you look on my WebSite, rabi there is a picture of "The Rabbi" in front of the same plane....

I don't think you should say Prepper. I think prepper has the tin foil helmet attached to it. I always talk about in case of emergency. Unsure of your area but I always bring in weather or natural events that could happen. Use examples of Katerina response or Joplin. The feds were not immediately there so people need to be able to care for themselves for at least a week. That is how I start people to thinking, then when they start reading and researching they usually get serious.

So maybe you can help me come up with a better name for the game?
It needs to be something catchy, short and to the point.

    Thanks again for your input!!!
