I stopped in a military surplus/outdoor store today and found a flyer for a preppers meeting at a drive-in restaurant.I think I'll go,keeping OpSec in mind..might be interesting.
Print up some survivalmonkey.com flyers and leave them around the place.... as a place to check out....
OPSEC...Don't come as you are...come as someone else.... I predict a sudden interest in disguises: funny disguises - Google Search A Mel Gibson disguise might work! Just make sure that no one else is coming as Mel Gibson, that might be too much of of a give away.
Send him your disguise Chello...I think you mentioned something about a kangeroo thongie thingie...Elton John 70's Shade's ..and a few other thingie's..??? Peacock feather's perhap's...? LOL...
Be wary of some militant preppers... Could be a ploy to make a "Prepper" the next example for the govt.. Just sayin
IF...You walk into this...Take note's...Never heard of these guy's and gal's... Sovereign Citizens: Radicals Next Door - Yahoo! News
I'd go but would be very noncommittal and fairly quiet playing the part of a 'new to survival' student rather than the 'been there, done that' survival expert. Local networking within a community can be of value later on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'm gonna be the new kid.."what's a prepper?" ETA Yeah,I saw Doomsday Preppers on tv and want to learn more about it.
For those who might be close enough to show up,it's in Cleveland,Bradley county Tn,about 30 miles NE of Chattanooga at the Rebel drive-in on S Lee Hiway.Tuesday March 13th at 6 p.m.
What gun shop? I had my 1919a4 built in Cleveland. I bet I know some of those folks involved as I was part of a group out of Madisonville at one point. Coker Creek too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Just tell'em "Melbo sent you".... and see if they respond..... Especially if Chello sends you his disguise.....
Unfortunately, they don't know me as Melbo... The vetting process included some deep backgrounding by some of the more , er, connected to the intelligence community. Of course, this information was not made privy on the first date.
No guns that I saw, just some US and imported army stuff..backpacks,tents etc.Magazine pouches, first aid kits, ammo cans, some used boots and clothes. The name of the store is The Outpost.I bought a holster for a Leatherman,a couple P-51 openers and a mag pouch for the strap of a bag I carry in my truck. ETA..Tellico Plains got hit pretty hard with the last tornado outbreak, don't know if Coker Creek got hit or not..
I've heard of the "sovereign citizens" and ALL OF US here, fit the profile.. especially the crazies always talking about silver purchases.. ccc
