that looks very interesting. It's called Homefront. The neighborhood halo master (my 11 yo) wants to know what types of weapons will be available before he passes judgement. The fight scene looks a lot like a scene from call of duty modern warfare II. We can only play that one when his mom is gone so an option to turn off the blood/gore would be great.
Not sure on the gun selection. This is not a foreign war/military (COD) or scifi FPS (halo) type of game. This appears to be a game about fighting off invaders and surviving on your own turf, in your own community. Given that, weapon choices will likely be made up of what's available at your local gun shop. I doubt it's going to be accommodating to children with options like that though. I'd recommend you guys pull it out and play it when you play COD, when mom's not home haha.
YouTube- Intellivision®: Programmer Home Movies 1983/1984 I'm not a "gamer" by any means but the trailer looks "cool"(anybody still say that?) At least we make it past 2012 (Whew...) Had one of these: YouTube- Intellivision Video Game System Commercial, 1982 andcouldn'twait to get it!
I actually had one of these back in the 70's. Just think, if guns had progressed as fast as computers we'd be shooting stuff like the aliens have in halo. <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/LPkUvfL8T1I&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/LPkUvfL8T1I&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
About as far fetched as our falling to 3rd world status... But we are running head long toward that very cliff. Here's hoping the break lines weren't purposely cut! Byte EDIT Aahahha just noticed my Freudian typo. Totally unintentional and I even previewed before posting!
Looks pretty good. I agree, not N. Korea but the events that unfold may be more likely to happen with China, although I'm sure the devs wanted an easy enemy that everyone could hate. Although when the mongols expanded I doubt many took the threat seriously beforehand.
