Here is a site that I do not think has been talked about here. This person is in my eyes a master boat builder, and has provided plans on the internet for boats made with plywood. one boat accually only uses a single sheet of ply. It has pictures and plans. http://koti.kapsi.fi/hvartial/index.htm If you couldnt tell by the domain, i have no ties to this person. Just a very informative site for those near water.
Very interesting for those near more or less quiet water. Might be just the ticket for folks with ponds on the bugout sites. (The link to Lowell dory didn't work for me.)
Thanks for that link. I've always been interested in boat building. Never have taken the plunge, just do not live close enough to water to play around with it. I've a 14.5' Fisher boat w/9.9 hp motor. Also a canoe 17' I think, haven't had it out in a few years. That's the problem with getting old, I've now got the time, but it takes me 5 times as long to get something done.
Super simple could be great to study for anyone who may ever BO. Its something I have thought about as far as how to cross rivers and such if the bridges are out and you have 50 lbs of gear to get across with you, much of it that you dont need wet particularly if its winter.
