I just got a ninja zx9r for commuting to work, doesnt get much better for mileage than a motorcycle. I been driving a 1993 ford escort 4 cyl. that gets decent mileage to but its falling apart bad. I would be suprised if it lasts the end of the month. My truck is a 1968 chevy stepside. Its built like a tank. god i love that truck.

Gator - The Smart has a NASCAR style roll and impact cage designed to activate the crumple zone of the other vehicle. It would, however get punted down the road like a football and be totaled! Check out the little thing, it is really pretty safe. I like the 41MPG, and I don't have to take it out on the freeway to get that mileage, that is my average City MPG. For rough stuff, I take the Land Rover or Grand Cherokee.. :D

As for "What if you're in an accident?" I equate it to being on a bike... Helmet is just a bit bigger!! :D
