Tactical Question: Glasses fogging in the cold...

So, I have been reviewing my Kit, and working on an article concerning my BOB, and some of my Living History perspectives on things, when I encountered an issue doing a practical.

How do you keep your glasses from fogging, and still keep your face from freezing?

I've tried most of the common methods for keeping my face warm over the years, but anything that keeps my face warm constantly pushes breath up to fog up my glasses. Since I am sure that y'all have had similar issues, what can I do to keep my face in one piece?

 

Here are 8 "tricks"

1. Use anti-fog wipes
2. Clean your glasses with a small dab of shaving foam
3. Rub a small amount of pure (Ivory or glycerin) white bar soap on your lenses, then buff off
4. Apply anti-fog paste or spray
5. Use rain repellent on glasses
6. Clean them with your saliva
7. Choose glasses that sit away from your face to circulate air
8. Wear contact lenses instead of glasses
