By the By... Plastic DOES Burn, just fine, if you get the fire Hot Enough..... It is Illegal for a Company, or Municipality, to Burn Plastic. HOWEVER, there is an Exemption for Single Family Dwellers, written into the Federal Statute.... When the EPA sent out their Inspector, to inspect the Canneries Trash Practices. I specifically Asked, and got the Answer, to that question. I collect my trash in Plastic Garbage Bags, and since there is NO Barge Service in the winter, and I MUST Burn my Trash, How can I be in compliance with HIS Statute? He stated that "Single Family Residents are EXEMPTED, in the Statute" and I can burn whatever I want, however I want, and he could care Less..... This is after he had just leveled a $60KUS Fine for burning Plastic here.... Your Government in Action...
