    That is one strong possibility. Other paths have it swinging north once it hits land and running up through Florida. Chances are poor for going up the eastcoast, as there is a big high pressure area off the eastcoast pushing Dorian away.

    Hurricane Dorian just became a Cat 4. Still has to roll ove the Bahamas. Brevard County in Florida has announced mandatory evac.
    Our governor has State Troopers escorting gas tankers to stations needing gas. Some gas trucks coming in from out-of-state.

    I was in Ft Lauderdale on Wednesday evening and it was brutal, hot and humid. I cannot imagine how those people cope when a hurricane takes out the power for a few weeks. I read the linemen are already mobilizing to the area.

    I lived there and it's easy. The weather is usually perfect after a hurricane, we gather some neighbors and have a barbecue, and at night it's perfect sleeping weather even without A/C. Now, in the dead of summer, hurricanes don't come around so it's all good. You always have the yuppie types gathering bottled water and running generators, but if your home is still stable, it's all good.
    It's probably gonna run up the coast, given the latest forecast. CIMSS Tropical Cyclones
