When I was a kid this was a free country. I built firearms in shop class.

I can make a cookie cutter for just about anybody.

How about some really prettied up beer cans made into very fuel efficient Tiki torches. (Add range pick-up brass, worn out refrigerator door bushings, old flare cases, clothes line rope, dog tag chain and old fishing leaders.... I'd like to say that that box was recycled pallet wood, but I was lazy and used an old laundry room shelf to save a trip into town.)

A few different size cans can be built into all sorts of stoves. This one is a very efficient T-LUD (Top-Lit Up Draft) stove that'll run almost smoke free on anything from wood chips and peanut shells to dried dung. (It worked with sun dried, rain rinsed cat poo off the barn roof, but I never used it for a cooking fuel.)

In my youth I knew kids ;) who made .22 zip guns using this same screen door hardware with car antenna barrels. This rig is a little more refined and is the set-up for double proof firing an inline .50 caliber muzzle loader barrel for an AR.

i did not use soil in mine nor are mine this pretty, this is a great tool for growing in the window sill with no soil. and I used dark wine bottles. The herbs grow great as long as you dont use chlorinated water.

TThe drainage area is nice and tidy as well. You don't always see drainage areas for kichen herbs. This one is practical.

Cheap plastic 'storage shelves" a couple of tubs and some PVC pipe = a camp kitchen table. One that folkds nicely for transport. SInce summer = camping/picnicking, worth a look.

I was looking for a robust PVC pipe frame to hold a tarp. Something that could be stored, but offer some covered space, with a floor and could stand up to the weather.

    I found this:

While not cheap, it struck me as both robust and easy to assemble. Unless painted, it would be unsuitable for long term use.

    Still, a neat idea.

Moms all need bulletin boards. I wouldn't use an old pan because those are a mess but cool idea.
