Uses for Dawn Dish Soap

Hate to hear he had to kill off some honey bees ,,,should've been able to find someone to take them away for him.

 

There's an issue with killer bees around here. No one wants to mess around when it comes to bees, killer or not.

In line with 11. Keep Poison Ivy From Spreading. When I get into poison oak I take a hot shower to open up the pores and wash with straight Dawn. Dries up your skin some but gets the poison oak oil off you.

 

You shouldn't tease us like that - with no photos.

I'm pretty sure lye soap will trump Dawn, in that area.

 

I use Clorox hand wipes for that,Just wanted to throw that tidbit in the mix.

 

It's a good dog shampoo. The dawn will smother every flea and tick on the animal.

 

Question to you, how much does it dry their skin out?

 

I haven't noticed a problem with scaling or itching in the dogs. Dawn is about the only thing that gets rid of the wet lab smell one of my dogs gets when his winter coat is on.

 

It rains here from time to time - like all summer long.

I get a lot of road crud. the oily stuff on the window of my Land Yacht (VW Eurovan Camper) despite the window being waaay up off the road. I keep a bottle with Dawn and water (80/20, so mostly water) to give the window a good squirt - then use the sponge/squeegee gizmo at the fuel stop.

Works Wunderbar, cuts the oily stuff in an instant...
