Like Bergstrom in Austin, San Antonio with Kelly AFB, Lackland AFB, Randolph AFB, and Ft. Sam Houston would have made S.A. uninhabitable for years to come. Since Bergstrom is no longer there, I am sure the focus currently would be on Barksdale AFB in Bossier City since it is the HQ of the 8th Air Force and 2D bomb wing (thanks Wiki) with it's B-52s I know it would be a high priority target. Back in '87 I very well may have been toast living 40 miles from S.A., now I am 100 miles from any desirable target, who knows if we make it home to the ranch though where long term odds of survival would be a lot higher.
