    Mine weighs about 40 lbs and even that can get uncomfortable in a few hours. It contains the following:
    Leatherman tool
    small diamond sharpener
    Cold Steel Mariner knife
    cable saw
    magnesium and flint fire-starter
    film cannister of vasoline cottonballs
    mosquito repellent
    (2) space blankets
    halizone tablets and micro-filter
    flattened roll of aluminum foil with cardboard center removed
    (4) MREs
    Pancho shelter half
    (2) pr socks, wool sweater, watch cap, extra T-shirt
    bar of soap and small pack of diaper-wipes
    camelbak
    salt and pepper
    box .22 hollowpoints
    AR-7 explorer
    One litre coke (mostly for the empty bottle)
    compass
    Magellan gps w/extra battery
    small first aid kit
    small mag-light w/led bulbs
    100' parachute cord
    Roll of electrical tape
