What's your favorite Multi-Tool?

    Always liked the Gerber multi-pliers, myself. The old fashioned thick jawed ones, not the needle nose. Had one instance where I was using (abusing) one of those, and broke a half inch off the needle nose, on one side. Rather have the blunt nose pliers, that can take a bit more abuse. The wire cutters they have on them, nowadays, are pretty awesome, too! (y)

    Kershaw locking pliers .
    While working on boats was probably the most valuable tool.

    We have a couple of the smaller Gerber multi tools we got from two Bear Grillis kits.

    Also with a Black coating.
    Both blades can be opened with only one hand for they open without fully deploying the tool, a primary concern if you are hurt.
    The Jaws are compound gear driven and slip very seldom.
    One outer handle has a cover that pivots out of the way, keeps from pinching your hands on the tool innerds.
    Blast cap crimping tool.
    All tools lock open.
