White Rice! a few words from Grandpappy

Gator my wife likes ham I like sausage, so we but both. The best is deer sausage. Another secret is to put some cored bell peppers slices in the pot toward the end. The last hour or so. We fish them out prior to serving but I don't think you have to.

The wife cooked a pot full last night. I'm a full happy man!!!

LOL You forgot the Beano! I love Basmati rice. Got 50 lbs of it.

 

Blue Bonnet is an heirloom upland variety of rice that doesn't require[FONT=&quot] flooding. Nutritionally, I'd think it'd surpass most of the imported rice but... I've never checked so don't hold me to that comment. I don't know where I originally bought mine but.... it can be grown in just about any garden soil that's been well amended with organic matter. And.... it's not that hard to harvest either. [/FONT]
