WOW WOW WOW Honey bee's

We really, really want to set up some TBH in the back yard, but are worried about the area cotton fields. They spray those fields with everything under the sun. I planted the backyard full of bee attracting plants but the last few years we've been lucky to see 1 or 2 fly in. There's simply no way I can plant enough to keep a hive fed and happy without them heading to the fields. We'll put some in anyway, but I don't have a real good feeling about their survival.

 

Being very allergic to the stings of the little suckers, I think I will continue to get my honey from a neighbor down the road...
