What's the cheapest online source you've found for O² absorbers? This is where I 1st ordered for one hundred 100cc O² absorbers, https://www.usaemergencysupply.com/...ng_your_own_food_storage/oxygen_absorbers.htm. They didn't gouge me on shipping or anything but I just found another place selling them even cheaper that has ship anywhere in the US pricing for under $5, Powdered Dried Whole Eggs - Freeze Dried Fruit - Blanched Almond Flour - Steel C - Search.
$12 per 100 of the 100cc oxygen absorbers ... shipping included in this price at the LDS online store. Other well priced items here as well. I have purchased from them. Excellent service. Self-Reliance - LDS Online Store If for some reason the link does not work, type www.ldscatalog.com in your address line, go there, then click on "self-reliance".
I've purchased educational products from them many moons ago. I think I might still have an account with them if only I can remember what it was. The LDS was always professional and prompt and their products were always exactly as stated so thank you for reminding me they sold more than just educational products for children. If you don't mind my asking, what else are you purchasing from them?
4 x 100 oxygen absorber 100cc packets @ $48 total, 1 x 250 mylar 7mil 1 gallon pouches @ $94 Total, booklet, essentials of home (food) production and storage, $1.50, book, deseret recipes (using home storage), $7.00, book, basic self-reliance, $11.75..... grand total $162.25 . ps; no account number required, you can do guest purchase, I did.
I did find a record of my old account... the order was for bulk mini catapult kits. The account was.... my real name and I have the account number used for other orders. I wonder if prices are lower if we purchase using our LDS account as opposed to as a guest. Great prices on a nice thickness of mylar.
I don't think it makes a difference at the online store. However, the LDS canning facilities / food distribution warehouses are cheaper. But, they don't ship and you have to make a reservation and go there to pick up. I can provide links to warehouses, and product / prices.
I think it's a good idea to have 7 mil on hand. FYI, http://www.survivalmonkey.com/forum/general-survival/27469-cheapest-online-source-bulk-mylar.html. Good price but not the same quality. I'd think the 3.5 mil would work well for almost all foods. I'm thinking if these LDS centers are located near or around big cities that Milwaukee would probably be closest for me. I'd love to make a reservation so thanks for the offer.
