They encourage you to use a mask, but do not require it. I suspect it is due to the hysteria over the new bird flu. It makes my life very difficult as I am hard of hearing and between muffling the voice and destroying my ability to use sight cues to determine words, it is often hard to communicate. The standard response is not...

For months now I have been trying to clean up my eating habits. Every conversation I have with a "nutritional expert" they tell me to stop eating peanut butter. Why I ask.

Reasons given-
1 it is a legume not a nut.
2. processed food.
3. It has fungus/mold

I grew up in a generation where peanut butter & jelly or a fluffernutter was lunch. We all grew up healthy and active. Now schools have nutfree classrooms and the cafeterias have special sections for kids who have peanut butter in there...
A fellow going by the name "Butter bob" who talks some good stuff in a plain understanding kind of a way. It was very useful. Next was a Dr. Fung who also talked in a normal common sense kind of way. He talked about fasting, in various ways and how this and the Keto diet help burn belly fat and help your health improve.
I watched a program...
I'm sorry but all I can think of is asbestos was a miracle material. Physically tough, chemically inert, and fire retardant, it was safe to put in damned near everything....until it wasn't.

There's no way in hell I could participate in that trial. Not after over three dozen annual asbestos safety refreshers....
Then Dee's Cancer hit and things got real stressful but I had managed keep on quitting and had completely stopped smoking by March of 2023. Then her big surgery that took like 14 hours and left me milling around the hospital and back...

Hey Monkies

With all of the shit going down in the world today, I have been watching and noticing that there is a shit load of combative attacks(sucker punches, random, targeted...)

I am very good on the pistol front, but under the Tuler distance(21ft) I have no current experience in hand to hand, and feel that is a very big hole in my defenses.

I am considering take Krav Maga at a local gym that KM is 90% of what they teach along with BJJ.

I am good on cardio as I have been biking...
